Boston prep school nixes all the books in its library, replaces them with 18 e-readers by Laura June posted Sep 5th 2009 at 8:45AM.

I just had to share this article with you guys. What do you think? I have mixed feelings. I love the idea of getting the students e-readers, but do we have to get rid of ALL the books? I also enjoy reading people's comments on the article. Share some of yours here!

  1. So the coffee center...is that like some sort of free/reduced snack? :-D

Seriously, the man didn't need to take such a drastic step. Books still have their place in society...no no no not in the bonfire...in actual people's hands. There's something about holding this fine piece of literature that's in your hand and taking a part in the adventure with each turn of the leaf...this is something that this technology, at least not as far as I know, can, or should rather, take away.
